Naveen holds a LL.B. (Hons.) degree from GGSIP University and a Master’s degree in Corporate and Business Laws from the prestigious National Law School, Bangalore.

Naveen has vast experience in advising the clients in the areas of Corporate Commercial Laws, Real Estate, Corporate Advisory, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Laws and Litigation. His forte lies in the area of corporate restructuring and strategizing investments inbound and outbound.  He has been engaged in number of mergers, restructuring and acquisitions of various MNCs and large corporations in India. He has been regularly representing several clients before various courts and tribunals across the country, including Supreme Court of India, High Court(s), National Company Law Tribunal and its Appellate Tribunal, Debts Recovery Tribunal (DRT), etc.

Experience

His expertise also lie in assisting the clients in relation to real estate projects and advising multinational and domestic clients on various legal and commercial issues relating to real estate projects, conducting Due Diligence and assisting in drafting, reviewing, negotiating Share Purchase Agreements, Shareholders Agreement, Subscription Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Business Transfer Agreements, Guarantees, Non-compete Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and other transaction documents.

Leadership, Members, & Awards

During his previous stint at Competition Commission of India (CCI), Naveen authored the article on “Competition Policy & Law- ‘Competition Law as a Patent Safety Net in the Pharmaceutical Industry’.” Over the course of the years, the same article has been widely featured and cited worldwide by experts and authors of books and industry journals.

Naveen is also a Board Member for the M&A Practice group at Lexis Nexis. He has also received a Certificate of Appreciation by Lexis Nexis for Development of Practical Guidance Module. Naveen is also on the National Advisory Board of the Journal International Relations. He has been a regular speaker at various conferences and is a Visiting Faculty of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Noida Chapter.
