Shariq holds a B.S.L LL.B. from the University of Pune and a Master’s degree in International Commercial Law from the Newcastle University, UK. Shariq is also concurrently preparing for the Bar Transfer Test as organised by the Bar Standard Board (BSB) UK and as such is on his way to be qualified as a Barrister-at-Law.
Shariq works as an of-counsel with the Firm and appears as an arguing counsel in matters of the firm ranging from Arbitration matters, Insolvency matters to Corporate Litigation matters.
He regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India and appears for the Firm in its matters involving the Writ jurisdiction as well as the Appellate jurisdiction of the various High Courts across India.
Shariq is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
