N Raja Singh is a Partner at UKCA and Partners LLP. He leads the firm’s Banking, Competition, Arbitration, Civil and Service matters practice.

With over two decades of experience advising and representing individual and corporate clients in complex, high-value disputes across sectors, Raja is also empanelled as a legal counsel with various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). Raja regularly advises and represents clients on matters relating to government policies, regulatory frameworks, and a wide spectrum of central and state laws. He regularly appears before courts and tribunals across India in significant commercial, regulatory, and enforcement matters.

Raja has advised and represented clients in huge antitrust and competition law investigations involving allegations of price-fixing, price discounting, and bid-rigging.

In arbitration, Raja acts in institutional and ad-hoc proceedings and related court matters, including enforcement and setting aside of awards, jurisdictional challenges, and public policy objections. He also represents underwriters and commercial entities in arbitration challenges in India and abroad. Raja has won commercial arbitrations in foreign jurisdictions as well.

Matters handled by Raja have received extensive media coverage, including HBN Dairies and Indiabulls.

Through these associations, Raja remains closely engaged with developments in corporate law, insolvency and bankruptcy matters, and financial and commercial litigation.

Raja is also actively involved with committee of various law schools and contributes towards the practical and clinical courses designed to help students learn the nuances of law practice prior to entering the profession.
